Uran Limited has applied for 6 Exploration Permits at 3 locations in Czech Republic covering uranium deposits which have been previously defined by drilling. The company is involved in discussions with DIAMO, the State enterprise responsible for mining and processing of uranium in the Czech Republic, regarding processing of ore from some of these areas.

The Czech Government is currently reviewing its future energy needs and is likely to take a decision to expand its nuclear power generation, which will require accessing increased uranium supply from internal or foreign sources.
